Frequently Asked Questions

Our babycino cups are 4oz or 120ml – that’s right, pretty darn tiny.

Coffee cups are estimated to be the 2nd largest waste contributor after plastic bottles. People in Australia dispose of 50,000 coffee cups every 30 minutes. This amounts to 2.7 million waste paper cups in one day and a whopping 1.2 billion disposable cups in a year. Each time you choose to use a Little Cino Social cup you will be helping in the fight against single-use plastic waste.

We want to know what you’d like to see on our cino cups – after all, we’re making them for you and many of the designs have come from suggestions from our cino community. Please get in touch and let us know what you’d like to see at littlecinosocial@gmail.com or send us a DM @littlecinosocial

Our cups are locally designed in Western Australia, and sustainably sourced overseas. When we started Little Cino Social, we originally sought to have them made in Australia, but could find no manufacturer that could put the designs on such a small cup. We endeavoured to source a sustainable supplier that we’ve been working with for the past 3 years and are incredibly happy with.

Our cups are made from bamboo fibre, corn starch and food-grade melamine, and are BPA and phthalate free. Bamboo is a sustainable crop, it can be grown without pesticides and incredibly fast. It’s also incredibly lightweight yet highly durable, making it the perfect option for little hands.

Babycinos are typically served just above body temperate – typically at 40 degrees Celsius – falling well below FDA guidelines to serve liquids in melamine dishware below 70 degrees Celsius.

Little Cino Cups are biodegradable and take approximately 1-2 years to decompose. That’s a far cry from the 50 years needed for a disposable cup.

We advise only using the cups in the top rack of the dishwasher and never in the microwave.

It was only a matter of time we guess. At the end of the day, getting more reusable babycino cups into the hands of cino drinkers is a positive thing and an idea that we can all get behind (although ours are the cutest!)

We’ve endeavoured to keep the postage as low as possible and use a courier that determines the rate based on location. If the postage rate is higher than expected, please contact us and we can assist with alternative postage options.

Our cups are stocked locally and across Australia and we’d love to get more Little Cino Cups out into the wild. Please contact us at littlecinosocial@gmail.com for wholesale information.
